World Kindness Day 2026 falls on Friday, November 13, and Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26. Plan to launch on Tuesday, November 10 and wrap up on Wednesday, November 25, so your Thanksgiving rewards land before the holiday.
What you’ll do
1. Give your platform a warm, grateful look
A seasonal look is the first thing employees see when they log in, and it reminds them to say thanks. Use the Kindness Day banner for the whole campaign. It has the greeting in the centre, so it works for any organisation. Download the banner (PNG).Theme colours
This harvest theme is designed to go with the banner, so you can keep it on for the whole campaign.
How to do it
- On Tuesday, November 10, upload the Kindness Day banner as your home or dashboard banner and apply the colours above.
- Switch both back on Monday, November 30.
2. Launch kindness and gratitude recognition
Seasonal awards give people a warm, low-effort reason to recognise each other. Launch one core value and two spot awards, each with its own badge: one for Kindness Day, one for Thanksgiving. Download each badge from its card and use the description shown on it.
Kindness in Action
Core value. For the teammate who lends a hand, covers a shift or checks in on someone who needed it. Tag it on any recognition. Download badge (PNG)

Kindness Catalyst
Spot award. For a peer whose small act of kindness made someone’s day. Perfect for November 13. Peer-to-peer, no budget. Download badge (PNG)

Grateful For You
Spot award. For managers and leaders to recognise the people they’re most thankful for this Thanksgiving, with points from their budget. Download badge (PNG)
- Create Kindness in Action as a core value so employees can tag it in any recognition.
- Create Kindness Catalyst as a peer-to-peer spot award. It needs no budget, so anyone can give it.
- Create Grateful For You as a spot award for managers and leaders, with points from their budget.
- Upload each badge image and add the description shown above.
- Announce Kindness in Action and Kindness Catalyst on Tuesday, November 10. Announce Grateful For You on Monday, November 16.
3. Open a Thank You Wall on the social feed
One thread that runs from Kindness Day to Thanksgiving gives everyone a reason to post, comment and react, and it links back to your awards.
Happy World Kindness Day! This is our Thank You Wall. Share a kind act you saw this week or a thank-you note for a colleague, and tag them. We’ll keep the wall open until Thanksgiving, so come back whenever someone makes your day.
- Post the image with the caption on Friday, November 13.
- Use @group to bring in whole teams, departments or locations.
- Use Spotlight to feature the most heartfelt posts each week.
- Nudge the thread again on Monday, November 23 with a Thanksgiving reminder, and give Grateful For You awards in the same thread.
4. Say thanks with Thanksgiving gifting and reward points
Turn appreciation into something people can enjoy. Send gift cards, gourmet hampers, merchandise or experiences from 10M+ rewards across 30+ categories, or add reward points people can redeem for what they like.- Pick a Thanksgiving-friendly reward: gourmet hampers, food delivery, home and kitchen or experiences.
- Send it to Grateful For You recipients and the most-loved Thank You Wall posts.
- Consider a small budget for managers to thank their teams before the holiday.
5. Thank everyone at once with bulk rewarding
If you want every employee to feel included, send a Thanksgiving thank-you to everyone in one go.- Choose who to reward: target by department, location or business unit, or upload a CSV.
- Pick the reward or points amount and add a short thank-you message.
- Schedule it for Wednesday, November 25, so it lands before the Thanksgiving break.
