Viewing as
At the top of the report, use the Viewing as and In the role of dropdowns to see the report from the perspective of any employee or role (Super Admin, Manager, HRBP, etc.). This is useful for validating what different stakeholders see.Key metrics

Navigation and customisation
- Pivot By User: Reorganise the activity summary table to group data by user, department, or other dimensions.
- Add filter: Apply additional filters to narrow the data — by department, location, designation, and more.
- Date range: Use the date picker (top right) to set a custom reporting window. Defaults to the last 30 days.
Activity summary table
The activity summary table shows per-user engagement broken down by device and content type. Each row represents one user. Columns:- User — Employee email and display name
- Total active sessions on desktop — Number of login sessions from a web browser
- Avg % of days active on desktop — Percentage of days in the period the user was active on desktop
- Total active sessions on mobile — Number of login sessions from the mobile app
- Avg % of days active on mobile — Percentage of days in the period the user was active on mobile
- Total active sessions on MS Teams — Number of sessions initiated through the Empuls app on Microsoft Teams
- Avg % of days active on MS Teams — Percentage of days in the period the user was active via MS Teams
- No. of posts — Posts created by the user in group feeds
- No. of comments — Comments made by the user on posts
- No. of reactions — Reactions (likes, emojis) made by the user
Most active users
A ranked list of the top users by total activity count in the selected period. The table shows:- User — Employee email and display name
- Activity count — Combined count of sessions, posts, comments, and reactions
Least active users
A ranked list of users with the lowest activity count. The table shows the same columns as Most active users. Use this to identify employees who may need nudges, onboarding follow-up, or support to get started on the platform.Groups
The Groups panel (top right of the page) shows:- Group name — Name of each active group
- Total # of discussion threads — Number of threads posted in that group

What counts as an 'active session'?
An active session is any login to the Empuls platform — whether on the web (desktop), mobile app, or through the Empuls app on Microsoft Teams. Each distinct login counts as one session.

What is the activation rate?
The activation rate is calculated as: signed up users ÷ (signed up users + invited users). It shows what percentage of your invited workforce has completed registration on Empuls.

Can I filter the activity summary by department or location?
Yes. Use Add filter to refine the table by department, location, designation, grade, cost center, or business unit. You can also use Pivot By User to change how the data is grouped.
How is the activity count in most/least active users calculated?
How is the activity count in most/least active users calculated?
Activity count is a combined measure of engagement events — sessions, posts, comments, and reactions — within the selected date range. Higher counts indicate more frequent platform interaction.
