The objective of this form of authentication & the corresponding use of the app is to provide the option for the end-user to open Compass from a customer application seamlessly without going through the standard login mechanism. This ensures that the SDRs/agents/partners do not have to sign in separately on Compass, given that they will be using the app as part of their regular use of the customer’s ecosystem of apps for productivity and engagement. It is also important to understand that authentication is a mandatory requirement for access to any Compass service. Oauth 2.0, one-time key, and deep link provide a seamless user authentication and app enablement experience.

What is OAuth?
