Introduction

This privacy information notice (“Privacy Information Notice”) informs CGI members (“You” and “Your”) on how and why Your Personal Data is collected & processed as part of the APAC’s Rewards and Recognition Program.

Which personal data does CGI process and for what purposes?

CGI will process the following personal data:
  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Birth day and month of birth (no year included)
  • Work anniversary date
Purpose of processing: Your personal data is collected and processed for CGI’s Rewards and Recognition Program. CGI relies on your consent to process and internally publish your personal data in the Celebrate tool.

How and with whom is your personal data shared?

Your personal data, as explained in the section above, will be processed by the Global Business Services (GBS) team.

Data security

CGI applies risk-appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, unauthorized modification, damage, loss, and misuse. Where contracted third-party suppliers provide services to CGI that involve processing personal data, they are required by the terms of the contract to meet or exceed CGI’s own security standards. How long does CGI retain your personal data?

CGI is committed to keeping your personal data for no longer than what is strictly necessary for the purpose for which it is collected and processed. Your data will be deleted or archived as per CGI’s Records Retention Policy and Records Retention Procedures.

What are your rights in relation to your personal data?

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, rectification, erasure, and portability of your personal data. You may also exercise your right to be forgotten. If you wish not to participate in the Celebrate tool, CGI will take all reasonable measures to address your request to exercise any of these rights. When addressing such a request, you should make sure to identify yourself expressly by providing a copy of a valid CGI member ID card and a government-issued ID card. CGI will not be able to address any requests made without due identification. Subject to the above conditions, CGI will endeavor to address your request in due course. If you wish to exercise these rights and/or obtain all relevant information in relation to the processing of your personal data, please raise a ticket via HRSC. You can freely withdraw your consent at any time by using the contact details mentioned above. In that case, all processing operations that were based on your consent and took place before the withdrawal remain valid.
