Steps

Navigate to Manage Leaderboards

Go to Reports and Admin → Programs → Manage Leaderboards. Here you’ll see all existing leaderboards. Click Create Leaderboard.

Enter basic details

Fill in the leaderboard’s name, description, score name, winner title, start date, number of winners to display, and frequency (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually).

Select or create events

Click Continue and choose the events you want to incentivise. You can use system-defined events or create custom events.To create a custom event: click Add New Event → enter event name and a unique event code → upload a CSV file with the relevant data. At least two events are required to set up a leaderboard.

Define eligible users

Choose which users are eligible for this leaderboard by selecting from existing groups (e.g., a specific team or business unit).

Set visibility

Choose whether the leaderboard is public, member-only, or inherits from current group settings.

Define awards and milestones

Select the awards for leaderboard winners. Click Add Milestones to define multiple milestones — each with a name, score threshold, and description. Optionally attach a gift or award to each milestone and customise the winner notification email.

Create and upload data

Click Create Leaderboard. Once created, upload data for custom events using the provided template and the unique event codes you defined. The leaderboard will automatically populate and rank winners.
