Steps

View existing budgets

Go to Recognition → Reward Budgets to see all your budgets and their available balances. As a manager, you can also view your team’s budgets and a utilisation report.

Create a Manual Budget

Select Manual Budget Allocation. Give the budget a name, link the awards you want to associate with it, add a description, and specify the total points to distribute.Select the recipients, then allocate the number of points to each recipient. The budget is created immediately.

Create an Automated Budget

Select Automated Budget → Proceed. Name the budget, add a description, and link the awards to attach.Choose the distribution method:
  • Fixed — a set number of points per recipient
  • Prorated — points distributed based on criteria such as number of employees in a department, number of direct reports, or number of employees per HR representative

Set distribution cadence

Select the recipients and define how often the budget runs (e.g., on the 1st of every month) and the number of cycles to repeat.

Review and confirm

Review the setup — you’ll see when the first run will occur and when subsequent runs will happen. Confirm to create the automated budget.
