# Smart Recognition on Empuls

> Use AI-powered smart recognition to make appreciation more meaningful and reduce bias.

## Steps

  <Step title="Navigate to nominate or award">
    Go to the nomination or instant award section and select the person you want to recognise.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the smart recommendation">
    When you select someone, the system automatically checks how often you've recognised this person in the past and surfaces a **smart recommendation**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Act on the insight">
    The recommendation may remind you if it's been a while since you last recognised this person, or flag if you've recognised them recently. Use this insight to decide the best course of action.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Proceed with recognition">
    Once you've reviewed the recommendation, proceed with nominating or awarding as usual.
