# Platform Branding & Customization

> Customise Empuls with your brand identity — colors, logos, feed settings, and homepage layout.

## Steps

  <Step title="Go to Platform Settings">
    Click **Reports and Admin → Platform Settings** to access all branding and customisation options.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update theme and colors">
    Go to the **Branding** menu and click **Edit** next to **Program Theming**. Adjust colors for CTAs, text, navigation, and award blocks.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update program settings">
    Click **Edit** on **Program Settings** to change the program name, points name, time zone, conversion factor, and feed post style.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Update logos and media">
    From the **Branding** settings, update:

    * Program logo
    * Login page background
    * Favicon
    * Bot avatar
    * Feed card backgrounds (birthday, anniversary, new joiner, leaderboard)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Customise banners">
    Edit banners for the birthday wishboard, anniversary wishboard, new joiner wishboard, profile banners, and the Wall of Fame background.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Personalise the yearbook">
    Customise the work anniversary yearbook — change the branding, yearbook color, component color, and more.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure feed settings">
    Under Platform Settings, enable multiple feed views — by business unit, cost centre, department, or location — so users can filter the feed relevant to their group.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set profile fields">
    In **Profile Settings**, add or modify user profile fields. Changes appear in the people directory, user profiles on hover, wishboards, nominations, and wish cards.

  <Step title="Choose homepage layout">
    Select from three homepage layout options:

    * **Comprehensive view** — left navigation, banners, internet feed, and all widgets
    * **Connect & Celebrate** — most feeds and right-hand side banners
    * **Work Essential** — hides the social feed, showing only essential widgets
