# Edit Live Awards with Versioning

> Watch how editing a live award creates a new version automatically, so in-flight nominations continue uninterrupted on Empuls.

## Steps

  <Step title="Open a live award">
    Go to an award that has open nominations and click to edit it.

  <Step title="Make a major edit">
    Change approvers, eligibility rules, or point values as needed — no need to freeze the award or clear pending nominations first.

  <Step title="Save to create a new version">
    Major edits automatically create a new award version. In-flight nominations continue on the original version without interruption.

  <Step title="Review the version history">
    Open the award's version history to see every version with its open nomination counts, creation dates, and read-only configuration.
